In the “Women's Rally” – an excellent performance by Vilnius policewomen

On Saturday, May 9, the largest motorsports event in Lithuania, dedicated solely to women – the "Women’s Rally" – took place in Vilnius. Now in its twelfth year, the orienteering rally brought together more than 150 crews and around 600 women from all over Lithuania this year.

One of the main goals of this event is to promote driving culture, responsible behavior on the road, and safety. Participants competed in eight categories, and along the several-hundred-kilometer route, they faced not only driving challenges but also fun tasks, scenic stops, and a positive atmosphere throughout the day. All crew members were required to follow the Traffic Rules, making the rally a great reminder that responsible driving can be both interesting and engaging.

Among the many participants, the Vilnius County Police women’s team also performed brilliantly, competing in the guest category. The policewomen's crew – Gabrielė Jaškinaitė, Ilona Krasauskaitė, Snežana Kondratovič, and Loreta Lilienė – who have participated in the rally before, demonstrated excellent teamwork, ingenuity, and determination, with their efforts culminating in a hard-earned third place.

This achievement is not only a fantastic result but also a wonderful reminder that female officers actively participate in community events, leading by example to promote safe and courteous behavior on the road. We congratulate the team on their excellent performance and the award-winning finish!
