Drugs – NO: annual results and the importance of the community

The fight against drug distribution is one of the police’s priority tasks. Increased attention by officers enables them to identify more quickly both drug distributors and the places where illegal activities take place.
During 2025, Vilnius County Police registered 231 criminal offenses related to the unlawful possession of narcotic and psychotropic substances; 191 persons suspected of drug distribution were identified, and as much as 148 kg of various narcotic substances (mostly cannabis and synthetic cathinones) were seized from illegal trade.

Police officers emphasize: the role of each and every one of us is also very important. If you notice suspicious activity, you are urged not to delay and to report it by calling the Lithuanian Police trust helpline “Drugs – NO” at +370 700 60777 (weekdays from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.).

All information received reaches specialized criminal police officers. They check it within one working day and forward it to the police commissariat responsible for further investigation.

Let us not remain indifferent – only by acting together can we create a safer environment and protect our loved ones from the threats posed by drugs.
